GROW PEOPLE.
There are two parts to the mission: Jesus and People. We are built on the person of Jesus and the process of growth.
Person of Jesus: The church belongs to Him, and He is the one who builds the church. In Matthew 28:18-20, Jesus said all authority belongs to Him, and in Matthew 16, He said, “I will build my church.” We like to say Jesus is the Senior Pastor of Revolution Church. It is His church, and it is His people.
Process of Growth: The second part of our mission is GROW PEOPLE. We are all about Jesus! We want to be about what He is about, and that is growing people. Therefore, the second part of our mission is built on a process where people GROW and become disciples of Jesus. The process of how people GROW is laid out in the Bible and is not unique to Revolution Church. However, what is unique is the simple way we communicate it. We call it the GROW process, and this is how discipleship happens at Revolution Church.
In Matthew 13, we see the parable of the sower. We don't just see four different soils but four different steps the seed goes through in the process of growth.
Those four steps make up our Core Values, which is our GROW PROCESS:
Gospel: The seed of the Word of God is planted in us, and we are saved.
Relationships: We grow roots to keep us grounded in the gospel. These are relational roots connecting us to the new family of Jesus.
Obedience: This is the step in the process where, out of the gospel and the church, fruit is grown in our lives as we learn to obey Jesus' commands.
Works: The fruit God grows in us is planted into others through good works. So, the Gospel is multiplied, and the kingdom of God grows to all nations.
A GENERATIONAL MOVEMENT
OF GOSPEL MULTIPLICATION
We seek to be a church that exists for all generations and all nations where the Gospel is multiplied in more disciples, leaders, artists, campuses, and churches.
Multiply Disciples
We see each disciple in our church making more disciples. Then, new disciples making more disciples, and so on. Through disciple-making, we see more artists and leaders growing the church.
Multiply Campuses
We see new Revolution Church campuses launching from each campus, to our next, and so on. Each campus has the same DNA and then launches more Revolution Church campuses.
Multiply Churches
We see future pastors from within our church being sent out to plant new churches. Then, we see those churches multiplying more disciples, campuses, and churches to reach the lost.
